 GPS: TomTom aims to identify bottlenecks live
TomTom unveils its line of Gps Navigation and services available for Christmas. Not to
mention the famous HD Traffic operated with SFR.
TomTom finds its way to the foot of the Christmas tree. With the approach of the festive
season, the leading provider of navigation solutions such GPS announces new devices
available in stores shelves by mid-November. Already announced at the IFA exhibition in
August, the great novelty of the PND (Personal Gps Navigation System Device) from the Dutch brand
actually lies in one of its service called "Live", the HD Traffic.
In partnership with SFR, TomTom informs motorists of the traffic condition in a relevant way
by making updated every three minutes. In fact, the new x40 range Go Live includes a SIM
card identical to that of mobile phones, which communicate with databases via the TomTom
GPRS network SFR. And conversely allows the operator to TomTom to collect information on the
status of road traffic through the SIM cards for mobile phones SFR subscribers at the wheel
of their car.
